Olivier Richters (born 1989, Hilversum) is a Dutch actor and, at 2.18 metres, the tallest professional bodybuilder in Guinness World Records. His credits include Black Widow, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, Borderlands and season three of Reacher. In 2026 he plays Zangief in Paramount’s Street Fighter.

Olivier Richters is a Dutch actor, bodybuilder and entrepreneur, known as The Dutch Giant. Born in Hilversum in 1989, he was 2.18 metres tall and about 80 kilos at nineteen. He built his frame to around 160 kilos, and in 2021 Guinness World Records named him the tallest professional bodybuilder.

After small roles on Dutch television he moved into international film with The King’s Man, Black Widow and The Electrical Life of Louis Wain, followed by Hauke in Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny and Krom in Borderlands. In 2025 he joined the main cast of Reacher season three as Paulie, opposite Alan Ritchson. He plays Zangief in Street Fighter (Paramount and Legendary, 2026), directed by Kitao Sakurai.

In 2013 he co-founded Muscle Meat, a Dutch high-protein food company, with his brother Rein and sister-in-law Yvette.

He was two metres tall at fourteen and 2.18 at nineteen, when he weighed about 80 kilos. Training changed that. Eating seven meals a day and studying how bodybuilders train, he built his frame to around 160 kilos, and on 27 April 2021 Guinness World Records measured him at 218.3 cm and named him the tallest professional bodybuilder in the world.

He started on Dutch television before moving into British and American productions. He played a guard in Matthew Vaughn’s The King’s Man, Ursa in Marvel Studios’ Black Widow and a boxer in The Electrical Life of Louis Wain, and appeared in Sky’s Gangs of London. He played Hauke in James Mangold’s Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny and Krom in Eli Roth’s Borderlands. In 2025 he joined the main cast of Reacher’s third season on Prime Video as Paulie, opposite Alan Ritchson, after four months of stunt training. In October 2026 he plays Zangief in Street Fighter, directed by Kitao Sakurai for Paramount Pictures and Legendary.

Away from film, Richters co-founded Muscle Meat in 2013 with his brother Rein and sister-in-law Yvette. The Ankeveen-based company makes high-protein ready meals, meal-prep products and the Dutch Giant Nutrition supplement line, and sells them online and through Dutch supermarkets. He has worked with Ubisoft, PlayStation, Xbox and Bethesda, fronted national campaigns for Ziggo and Fairtrade, and reaches more than four million followers across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and Threads.
